This afternoon on The Front Row Dean Dalton talked with violinist Baiba Skride. She’ll take center stage in a performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto this weekend in Jones Hall as guest conductor Claus Peter Flor leads the Houston Symphony. Elaine Kennedy talked with Choreographer/Director Michele Brangwen and composer/bassist Thomas Helton about Black Rain. It’s the piece that represents the first-ever performance presentation by Houston’s biennial FotoFest. There is only one performance and it’s tomorrow night at 8:00 in the Hobby Center’s Zilkha Hall.
