Graduate Pianist Levi Hammer provided the music on today’s edition The Front Row. He offered a discussion of Beethoven “Firsts” from the KUHF Steinway. He’ll solo with and conduct fellow students from the Shepherd School of Music in a concert featuring the Symphony No.1 and Piano Concerto No.1 by Ludwig van Beethoven on Sunday evening at 8:00 in the Duncan recital Hall at Rice University. Actors Elena Coates, Kelley Stolte and Rutherford Cravens all talked with Producer Bob Stevenson about the Stages Repertory Theater production of Silence. Performances start tonight and run through November 6th.

Dean Dalton called in from Warsaw, Poland where he and travelers on the KUHF Fall Music and Arts Tour are sampling the artistry of the 15th annual Chopin International Piano Competition. Audio here.
